Experience with burnishing lifter bores?

I always use them. For the most part, they are NOT going to be super hard to pull thru, since the hole is supposed to be really close to perfect already anyway. I have really good success with them (lifters always spin after use), but I've never tried the situation you describe. In your shoes, i'd give them a shot.
