Funny tangent. When I built my last dart with a 440 I was selling it due to a new baby. I was told in the same day by tire kickers I should have kept it original with the 318, i should have swapped in a 340, and I should have swapped in a slant six. Each time my reply was it's for sale when you buy it you can swap in whatever you want.
That sent the tire kickers packing and saved a lot of time.
