48 degree w2’s on 59 degree block

48 degree blocks have wider lifter spacing for the lifters to accommodate the wider intake port spacing of the W7 to W9 heads. If you are looking at a 59 degree block’s intake lifters and where they sit relative to a W2 or other LA head the pushrod will be closer to the intake port.
