Stop in for a cup of coffee
Went out for a walk along the beach this morning. First though we stopped by Beach Bites the little Mom and Pop place next door to the resort. No coffee or eats at the resort until 8am. We’re early risers so hit this place at 6am. Best breakfast sandwich and a large coffee. Where we stay is famous for nesting turtles season. It’s the season so every morning at 7 on the beach a couple marine biologists show up. They will sometimes release a baby turtle who didn’t make it out of the nest or dig a nest where the 80 plus turtles left a few days before. These two gals have a five mile stretch along the beach. Daughter and grand kids are right in the patch of the storm heading through the gulf towards Florida. We’re going to call her soon and give her the option to come here a six or seven hour drive If she needs to evacuate. For here rain and wind for a day no big deal. Enjoy your day!!
