833 Front bearing retainer

1965 Barracuda converting from a 904 to four speed. I should know the answer, but I'm going to ask anyway. I have an aluminum 833 bell housing, casting # 4202508-1, I got from another member some time ago for my /6 build. The opening for the front bearing retainer is 5.250" in diameter, the bearing retainer on my 833 is 4.250" in diameter. Do I have to modify anything to use the bell housing with my transmission?

Brewer's bearing retainer BR-728R is what you need. They were common on A230 3 speeds in '75 and later and used before that on trucks and vans so they are out there- for 307 bearing and have a 5.125" outside diameter. I have one but it's in use right now.
