Stop in for a cup of coffee

So, I am told it is likely the mechanical diode in the transmission. Ford only used it for 1-2 years before they went back to a sprag. So, $4000 for R&R, includes trans remove, rebuild with shift kit, billet converter, billet input shaft, fluid, etc and replace. 1 yr warranty and about 2 weeks out. Dammit

On my Dodge diesel I was having shifting issues. Shop wanted to do a bunch of work on it $$$... Called another local shop... turned out the guy was retired and the shop had been closed for a while.. but he gave me some advice... he said it was electrical. I think $20 for a new throttle positioning sensor fixed the problem.
