Thirty dollars a year for gun club dues is unheard of. That is a great rate. Usually when dues are super low the membership has to commit to “work bonds” Most clubs in this area are in the 200-300 dollar range. Skeet is a hoot! There is no end to the heckling between shooters! Side bars are hilarious. I think we had right at 1100 guys in our league? And I think 8 divisions. It lets teams be competitive and shoot against folks with same skill set. Beware of the guy that shoots 410 on skeet field!

I shot practice round of trap back in the early 1970’s with a JC Hagins 12 gauge I bought with a 32 special with ram horn sited for 65.00. After graduation in 1974 I worked at a very busy gas station and met a lot of nice guys. On guy owned a gun shop and he sold me a new Remington 1100 and shell catcher for 190.00 and a case of AA trap Shells for 50.00. I still have the gun and some of the boxes of shells.
