So I just got done sighting in the 7-08 I got for wife on her Bday. That thing is a shooter. 7-08 ammo is pricey so I did one shot make adjustments protocol then fired for effect on the head box. Little to no recoil, but a nice muzzle brake. I have a feeling it would be very obnoxious to some one beside me! I was behind the gun so no issue here! Hah!
