One of my concrete customers, real creative guy he was. Wasn't unusual for him to take payment for the concrete he laid in odd ways. "Hey! That job I did in Lakeview the other day I traded for a car. I'll bring it down for you to see if I made out OK." He rolled up in front of my ready mix plant in a '68 or 9 Cougar . Black Vinyl over dark metallic green. The more I looked the more I saw. XR7, 9" diff, C6. "OK let's look under the hood." I'll be dipped if it didn't have a 4v 390 in it :lol: "Yeah. I think you did OK John" :lol:
