So I have a 2012 Toyota Avalon here from a guy from my church. Told me it was making some kind of noise in the front end. He brought it to me yesterday. I drove it this morning and I can hear a noise in the front but it's very hard to tell whether it's coming from the right or the left. I believe it's a wheel bearing. And I believe it's the right side. So I put it up on the lift and spin the tire by hand to see if I can hear any noise in the bearings. I don't hear anything but I'm still convinced there's a problem on the right. So I start the car up, while it is off the ground. Put it in gear so the front wheels are spinning. Put it up on the lift and check it with my doctor's stethoscope. Sure enough, it's the right side. Now on to the repair. Not an easy one though. You got to pull the the hub and spindle and press out the old bearing and press in the new one and then reassemble it on the car. Pay's good though. Lol
