Well today was a defeat…the valve covers didn’t go as planned. I need a spacer for them. I should have checked that before getting into it. So I put the old valve covers back on for now but the gasket split putting them on so that one is no good. I’m sure these are stupid mistakes. So I’ll have to park her for now and order parts.

I had to use a 3/8 inch spacer on my 408. I used my 273 covers and no way they would clear the roller rockers i used. They are a real nice piece, but dang pricey..
