I have the stock fan on my 96 JGC
I felt like the thermal clutch fan was needing to be replaced.
I bought an HD cooling version and now the thing sounds like a jet, is it really cooling better, I have not noticed any change on the temp gauge under the conditions I was concerned about, but it sounds like it is.
