Here we go again. This time Edelbrock heads

@SS Lancer had given me permission to share his info and pictures of his project. Hopefully he will chime in and explain things better. He’s running a class that requires a certain part number Edelbrock head so he had a set of bare heads drop shipped from Summit in Dallas. He also shipped me his LD340 also required for his class build. Heads are of course getting ported and he’s going with 2.055 Ferrea intake valves and 1.60 Ferrea exhaust valves. I shipped off Reds head’s yesterday afternoon (thanks buddy) so I wanted to get a jump on this job so I drilled both heads for tubes and tubed one head. Got a little exhaust side work done then it was 8Pm quitting time for supper. I hit them hard for almost 4 hours today then quit for late lunch and a 40 minute Power Nap. One head has dimensions within .015 for now except for the short side and it’s only rough shaped. I have to unload my duster tomorrow and a few other jobs but I hope to have this head done this week. Here’s some pictures of my progress and my second entry I’ll list a few issues again with Edelbrock heads.
