Is ECS my only option for a date coded windshield? (Problem is now resolved)

Personally I would go for a high quality not wavy windshield new or used over a date coded one.

Not nocking ECS as I don't know their quality.

Just speaking to the poor quality aftermarket glass I have had I stalled in 2 different newer cars I own.
