Thanks for sharing the pictures. I can imagine how difficult it would be to visit.

We lived in Connecticut on that day and had been to Manhattan just six weeks before. I got a great picture of the Twin Towers from the ferry to Ellis and Liberty Islands.

We drive past the site after it was cleaned up and boarded off but haven't been back since moving in 2003.
