Wow, I have seen on TV a dyo test on doing that to headers and they smashed one tube on number seven a bit, looked like more then a bit to me watching on TV, but, there was zero power difference, then they did two, 7 and 5 , nothing changed.. yes, that small starter will make you much more happy, spins the engine much faster and I bet at a lower amp draw then the older bigger ones. Yes is my vote

yeah, i'll have to post a pic.. on my old (70s) dougs headers the #3 cyl tube goes in close to the block then back out under the started to the collector, which is awesome and clears power steering by a mile, but it is too high and hits the bottom of the mini.. not a major thing, 2 cuts on the header and lower that tube. :) Will post a pic when done since it's hard to explain
