Stop in for a cup of coffee

So our new KitchenAid whirlpool dishwasher lasted almost 4 years :wtf: :BangHead:

The touchpad has a mind of its own works, doesn't work etc. Touch panel can be the problem or the control board. There is a limited warranty and they would send a tech to diagnose, then if covered parts may be free.

$139 diagnosis fee. This does not include any labor and I am sure due to where I live they would also charge me a service call fee. So I think minimum $ 225 and the BS of waiting around for some clown and having to open my gate, blah blah blah...............

So I ordered a new control board and a new touch panel and control panel.............$525
Last time I saw a new fancy kitchen aid it was bolted on the front end of a shiny new AR one of my students was rocking. It was next to the satellite dish and electric can opener he had attached to the hand guards. By same token he did not have a single Molle strap left untethered on his vest. I warn students prior to every class to strip em, but they don’t. Of course at first break they are borrowing tools and stripping em then! Hah! I could make more on tool rental than instructing! Sadly most have never had a rifle slung around their neck for any longer than it takes to get a photo. By the four hour mark they are head down and shrugging their shoulders trying to relieve the cramps in their traps! Hah!
Apologies Rant over
Carry on
