I'd go over that beeotch with some 400 grit emery cloth and mineral spirits so quick it'd make your head spin. Won't hurt a thing. Looks like you're gettin it cleaned up, though.

I'd run it over a fine wire wheel and run it.
Hell back in the day I'd probably lube it up and run it as is. lol
