I like my idea of the chain better than the turn buckle because with the chain you get some vibration ReLeaf from the insulators at the motor mounts. It appears the turn-buckles will vibrate the car somewhat. Thay make solid motor mounts (I have a set) and for the same reason is why I don't use them.

A million ways to skin a cat! What ever works for you. I use to run a chain in the late 70's, still broke the rubber mounts in my Bee. It's been running solid steel mounts since 1979 and if it adds any vibration to the car then I'm toooo dumb to notice.

The turnbuckle above is on my Hemi 66 Satellite. It has rubber mounts and I wasn't going to attempt to change them. A surplus aircraft turnbuckle from my hangar shelves fit the bill perfectly, there's even a frame hole in that exact spot on the rail outboard that made it a very easy install. The turnbuckle is not full tight, I left it purposely long so under normal driving the engine can move without pulling it tight. Being a 4 gear, when you get on the loud pedal it then holds the engine down!
