My father bagged an antenna and a mirror while shooting gophers with a 22. He also “cleared” his 30-06 through the roof of our hunting cabin. I learned a few things NOT to do from him. Lol

I’ve fixed a few hoods that had rows of dents from the bullets shockwave. I guess that’s what it’s called. I would assume that shooting across and that close to a horizontal surface has some affect on trajectory.
I have seen a lot of creased hoods! Here is a pic of my brand new Carhart coat I thought I would use as support shooting my 45-70 Creedmore. Notice large burn mark! What a moron!
