my 64 cuda started life as a 273 , but i installed a 318 , i used 340 exhaust on it with 2 1/4 out the back , put a notch in the trans crossmember on passenger side for exhaust pipe clearance . and you need to get a short waterpump and brackets , not sure that long nose pump will work in your car .
