Nice looking set of heads for the cast iron factory type of guys.

There is a hump with holes on the 587 heads for a Air reactor pump passage
to port The hump appears to have been removed leaving just the hole. Also
the outside flange has been filled up.

The ports in NHRA Superstock MUST HOLD no more than stock CCs.
162 on the Intake if my memory serves. Those ports appear to be way larger
CC's than that = if picture is not deceptive which would at a minimum mean a year
vacation for NHRA racing at least. If blatant perhaps longer! Perhaps some extensive
welding or epoxy work could bring the down to NHRA specs but at the cost of some flow
probably.

All competitive small block Mopars that I am aware of (And that is about everybody)
run 700 to 800 or more lift NHRA superstock small block Mopars. i

Again, Maybe there is some other Superstock different than NHRA that they are built for.
They would probably be a fine bracket head.

It is not uncommon for us to spend upwards of $15,000 for competitive small mopar Super
Stock heads. I have often ported my bracket heads and Street/Strip heads but I am smart
to know my sketchy skin level.

Everyone feel free to flame me and make fun of my opinions again and tell me
what an idiot I am again for posting this opinion on line.

However, that is my honest two cents worth of opinion based on 60 years of Superstock Racing.
John, you need to write a book. I'd buy it.
