Ten years ago, I finally after 20 plus years of crappy sleeping, I did a sleep study. The doctor's response was holy crap. In an hour while asleep I quit breathing and my brain sub-consciously woke up 82 times an hour on the average. I couldn't remember the last time I'd had a dream which is a big indicator you have a sleep apnea problem. It is nothing to mess with hard on your body and can shorten your life.
