Spent the day in the deer blind. It’s in an amazing location. This morning had three does and a very large buck come out, but couldn’t get a good shot cause they were running.
Then this evening, had 9 turkeys come through followed by that same big *** buck. Perfect broad side target. 75 yards, should have been an easy shot for my Grendel… nope I ducking missed. I’ve not missed a target or a deer in over 20 years. Not only did I miss but I missed all 5 shots. So I’m checking my scope to make sure I didn’t bump it and destroy the zero or I just plain missed.
Pretty pissed at myself right now. Couldn’t have asked for a better shot on what would have been the biggest buck I’ve had in my sights. Guess my dry spell stretches to 11 years…
