Dodge 318

So I found a guy willing to sell a Dodge 318 long block. It came out of a Power Wagon which was a former military vehicle. It has a 727 auto attached with a tail piece for a 4 wheel drive. EnginHe has never been apart, he says it spins freely. He has no other info on this engine. My interest in this engine is to upgrade my /6 to a small block. So, give it to me straight, pros and cons. I am not an experienced tech, but I am not afraid to get my hands dirty, but I also don't want to get in over my balding head.
