EVAPO-RUST AND A FUEL SENDING UNIT

The sender seems to have some yellow substance covering the inside. Parts. I suspect it is from fuel evaporating and leaving a coating behind, I have not seen this on any of the other senders I have.
The exposed rusted metal is getting better.
