I've had assistant opening knives before but found it unnecessary

Even my really cool Herbertz knife, which is as old school lock back as they come, can be opened and closed with one hand within seconds

In fact, I remember one day being at a BBQ, chatting it up with some resident cutters and of course they all had thier God complex and I'm just a hillbilly machine operator
Then one of em comes out with a tray of sausages asking if someone has a knife

I had my knife out, the package open and the knife put away before they even realized it

And they all looked a little different at me after that
