Can anyone identify my rear differential? 8 3/4 but wrong markings???

Have a look at 55-57 Chevy rears. Seeing how it was 283/powerglide powered it seems logical to me. And looks very similar.

No offense, but that ain't an early chevy. I have five 55/57s, and I'm familiar, VERY familiar. Not an early 10 bolt drop out chevy.
