Now the actual Craftsman hand tools may not have been Chinese until later, but they carried Chinese tools well before the teens. Keep in mind too, location might have been a factor. I think mall stores like what we had relied more on what the Corporation did than stand alone or franchised stores, like the Sears Hometown Store that remained in Milledgeville, Georgia until about 2018.
