Starting a BB Duster project
I put an ad on Craigslist and it sold the next day. It was a cool looking car but it wasn't a fully finished project. Still needed some debugging and some finish work. The body work was done but the paint was just epoxy primer so at some point it was going to need paint. The interior wasn't finished.
The guy I sold it to had an 11 second Mopar race car. Last time I talked to him he said he sold his race car since the Duster was faster and could be driven to the track. When I had it the Duster was a high 10 second car, not sure if he has sorted it out more or not. I didn't have it sorted out for drag racing. I never played with the shock settings or the Calvert adjustments or anything like that. It was just a foot brake car and the transmission wasn't built for drag racing. But it was fast and it hooked up hard.
