"Something in the Orange"

Around the middle of last month my wife and I check into a casino near Shelton for her office Christmas party. They put most everyone up since we all live all around the peninsula. We finally get the kids settled down and cleaned up for diner and she informs me that we have to go get something.... Out in the rain we drag the kids to drive just across the highway to a parking lot adjacent to a gas station. (??)(!) A jeep pulls up and the two drivers jump out like they know each other and she makes me get out in the rain with them (??)(!)

Sometime before hunting season got hot and heavy, maybe late October, I told her about an add I saw on Craigslist for a set of original door cards or panels. (mine are terrible) These looked pretty nice and the price was about right but I was preoccupied and mentioned it at diner one night I think. Anyway, by the time I got back into my everyday life that add was long gone and I forgot all about it.....

She and this guy had been trying to meet up for months and it turned out he was going to be in Shelton the night of her party.... This was my present!
