In the spirit of woodcarving, I have been making some walking sticks just for fun.

Here is one that I did. Suitable for trail or urban hiking. It’s a maple branch that I trimmed from one of our trees a few years ago and aged in the garage before working.

I forgot the last part where I wrapped the carved grip with self-fusing tacky silicon tape to assure a positive grip in all weather.
