NP435 Trans Swap Help
1974 was the last year for the divorced transfer case.
I’m actually trying to decide what manual transmission to use in my ‘74. I don’t really like the NP435 for everyday/ cruising. I like a more hot rodded approach, and today I’ve found than an A-body A833 is not the answer. lol. Given the fact that I need to move my transfer case back, I may put a non OD B-body A33 in it.

How do you like that 4050? I think they now offer a two wheel drive unit which would work perfectly in front of my divorced transfer case. I don’t know what bellhousing they use for the TR4050 and a small block??
