OK brain- trust... this has been banged around before... but I didn't get closure from the threads.

These from Summit are not correct for passenger side timing marks

65 parts manual shows water pump discharge is on the driver side for both the 273 and 318 and they use the same timing chain cover. Why would it be a different damper for the 318 auto?

Any sources you know of? I've been trolling the interwebs but nothing with a high level of confidence

I've never had timing tape stick. The old stuff was better, but the stuff nowadays slings off almost with the starter. Search "Hillbilly Timing Tape" by crackedback and do that instead.
