Im jealous of slant 6 milling, 1 head ...no surfacing intake manifold. That's a lot to cut lol.
I took .080 off of my heads and a lot more than that off of the intake manifold, it was pure pain in butt
Yea, it's got some advantages.
But hard to make HP, at least for me it is.
I helped a guy with a max wedge years ago.
He had a shop in Richmond VA do the machining on a stage II engine.
We could not get the intake to fit, called the shop, they had milled the heads and did not record the cut!
And they did not cut the intake side.
Somehow we had another crossram that had been cut and it FIT!
What are the odds of that.
