I only knew of a couple racers with alum drums. They said no problems with over 400 runs in 10 second cars. Mine had over 200 runs when I pulled the pan to have a look see. Pan was clean as a whistle. Kim

That’s awesome! I know we used to service ours quite often and then finally said enough of this. Started going longer and longer And haven’t had any issues. 200 runs is awesome between fluid changes with nothing in the pan. The guys that have all aluminum drums seem to have darker fluid than those with only one aluminum drum. Which is a mixture of the ATF with clutch material, aluminum drums, and kolene coating on the steels. Attached is photos of a valve body in an all aluminum transmission.
