Your first mopar...?

No pics because this predates digital photography but the first car I bought with my money was a '73 Challenger-318 slapstik, red with B&W interior and white vinyl top. $100. The PO drove it out of coolant and cooked the 318. Dropped a 360 smog motor in it and promptly beat the hell out of it. The pillars the door hinges bolt to finally rotted away to the point you couldn't open and close the doors any more. The second was a '70 Duster 318/4 speed, Vitamin C with black bucket interior. Again, $100. Found out the hard way the seller's kid brother took off in it one night for a joyride, dumped it in a ditch and hit a boulder that bent the right LCA. It never ran right either-I always suspected the carb but it was never really resolved. Rust got to that one so bad you couldn't jack up either end of the car without the doors binding shut and that's when I decided enough was enough.

But. Buying parts cars to fix that one up included the '72 Duster 340 that I still have today.
