Alternator interference issue.

I bought a Chrysler small block serpentine conversion with bracketing for a GM 1 wire alternator from CVF. I bought the alternator from summit racing. It is a 12 SI. Anyway, the alternator does not clear the head. The bearing extends about 1/4" too far back preventing the alternator to swing down and connect to the adjustment arm. Is there a certain type of GM 1 wire alternator I need that has a narrower profile. I double checked all the spacers and everything appears to be correct except the alternator won't fit. Any suggestions? I am using Trick Flow Powerport 190 heads. CVF says that some aluminum heads stick out too far, but this doesn't seem to make sense as they are machined with threaded holes for factory brackets. Has anyone come across this?

Thanks,

Brian
