Quick Ratio vs Standard Pitman and Idler Arms

The "Quick Ratio " arms were intended to go on a standard ratio box. Also they were initially intended to be used on "E/B" body cars. Im sure that is why there is some clearance issues with "A" body cars. If you install one of the quick pitman arms on a 16-1 box the actual ratio at the wheels is closer to 12-1.
This explains my original confusion. Thank you!

I think I'll try to find a way to sqeek out a few more millimeters and run it. It's nice to know there may be an option with the later center-link and arms if it hits.
