Actually I am doing a swap into a 2004 Dakota. Most likely going to stay with stock diameter tires which are 245/70R16, about 29.5 inches tall. Going to run a streetable gear, most likely a 3:55. I have an 8 3/4 posi rear with 3:91 gears in the Duster now. Not sure if the width will be correct for the Dakota and I certainly don't want the tires sticking out from under the fenders. May just put a chunk in the Dakota rear for now. Engine is bone stock with around 50,000 miles on it, and just purchased a complete 6 pack setup for it. The engine does have the high compression 2.02 - 1.60 heads. Don't want anything super radical, just something with a good lope that will be strong out of the hole. Can go with roller lifters and 1.6 rockers if profitable. Automatic transmission, not sure about any stall. Open to all suggestions, and thank you.
