Making power out of the 318

I didn't bother with reading all 24 pages of this thread, but did the OP ever really get his original question answered? Was he ever given any good information? I don't see why his question couldn't have been answered in 6 pages or less. I know that some here had to bring up the roadrunner fiasco and I should've responded to that cluster either.
