New Edelbrock intake quality issues

Well it didn’t fit…
I did a dry fit and it was all good but when I added the gaskets I couldn’t get the bolts started in about half the holes. I was using a slightly thicker gasket .065 vs .060 so I ordered the thinner ones to try next week.
Have speedmaster heads and had an intake leak. Had a different Edelbrock on but the holes were elongated and figured it was part of the
