Selecting Torque converter
If my memory serves me right, the factory converter in my Duster stalled at around 2300/2400. But with that being said, it might be a wise move to contact one of the reputable converter builders and see what they say. Make sure you give them ALL THE CORRECT information on what you've done to the engine, tire size, diff ratio and what you intend to do most of the time with the car. Be honest with them. Most of them will have a spec sheet on their website. Something else to keep in mind, just because the whiz-bang 3500 fireball works like a charm in my car, doesn't mean much, unless our cars are identical, and avoid used converters period. Used converters are only good for two things, a core, and a door stop. JMHO.
