Thanks I'll send you a message and then.....what the heck do I do with a "crank pocket adapter"? (I have no idea what I'm getting myself into). I assume I use the flex plate and torque converter from the '63 170 correct? This is a picture of the 225.
You will be using the flexplate on the 225, the ring You will be receiving will fit inside the larger diameter '68&^ converter hub pocket in the 225 crank, this reduces the size to keep the older '67&down converter hub concentric/on-axis.
