My buddies at the body shop/tow service had a policy, any car they had to tow in and store that they had to lien sale to get the $$, if it wouldn't sell off it went to the salvage yard. However, not with a running engine. Little '63 Rambler wagon, couldn't sell it after the lien sale, gotta blow it up. The AMC 327 in it, got it running, hooked it up to a GI can full of gas, turned the throttle return spring round backwards and let it go. Little bugger run 45 minutes at WOT before it made a bad noise, almost forgot, we knocked the oil filter off with a wrecking bar to begin with :lol: bout 15 minutes later it lost a rod and knocked a hole in the block, but kept running. The internals were literally glowing red :wtf:
