76 breaks problem
New theory...
Rear is out of a 66 - 68 B body /6 car with 10x1.75 brakes
- backing plate looks close to 67 10x1.75, 7 1/4" backing plate
- no piston keepers like 69 and newer
- brake hardware is 68 and older
- shoes and drum are correct for 10x1.75
- bolt pattern is 5x4.5
Perch to perch
(Perches MAY have been moved... measure the distance outside of one to inside of the other or other center to center method
A Body is 43"
B Body is 44"
Drum to drum These are 8 3/4 measurements as provided here
An accurate 8 3/4" rear axle width list so they may not translate exactly to 7 1/4
A body 57 1/8” (or 57 13/16” for BBP axles and brakes)
B body
- '65-'67= 59 1/2"
- '68-'70= 60 1/8"
