Got a new Truck (new to me)
I had the same issue with my 72' van conversion, 318 2bbl to a 340, 4 bbl. The parts will work with a little adjustments. On the kickdown slide, I had to add a nut and bolt for a stop to make it work correctly. I recall, I had to bend the intake bracket for a better aliment for the throttle. Don't forget to add a double spring for the return. Check for any binding on the throttle cable. Reason for the double spring.
