"Something in the Orange"

Took it out a couple times that we had sunshine in March. I had a rear shock fail and acquired an electrical gremlin mystery to unravel. I think that I found the new issue (broken ground on my aftermarket voltage meter and a burnt brush assembly in my alternator). Taking the opportunity to do some overdue housecleaning in here since it’s all open. I’ve removed 6 deadhead wires, inspected the universal or welded splice (looks great) updated the wire to the alternator, cleaned up all three bulkhead connections. Cleaned up the fuse box, and found a pinched wire harness. I removed the crushed sections of a couple wires but they seemed ok. I left the others alone fearing that I would add more resistance splicing them. There was a short in the horn circuit too that I’m not sure I’ve rectified yet. We’ll see when I get the last of this back together and powered back up.
