Back to the engine. One thing I knew would be difficult and expensive to locate was the left side exhaust heat shield. In my regular daily eBay searching a listing popped up for one, once I gave it a quick lookover to confirm it was a 340 piece I hit the $35 Buy-it-now (plus $85 shipping), in a couple weeks I had it, shipped from Germany. To my surprise there was a second one in the box. It is a McCord part, McCord was the original manufacturer for Chrysler. The only difference in this one is no Pentastar or Mopar part number.
