Great.You can just jack it up with both wheels off the ground and spin the right rear wheel. If the other wheel spins in the same direction it is limited slip. If it spins the opposite direction it isn’t.

You forgot to mention to put the trans in neutral. Also this method doesn't allow you to know if the suregrip is working ? With one wheel on the ground in neutral you won't be able to rotate, thus you know it's working the way it should at least for now.
